Stock Filters

Stock Filters allow you to isolate stocks, indexes and companies based on criteria that includes percentage price change, revenue or income growth, industry and exchange.

Stock Filter - Historical Price

Use the Historical Price Filter to screen stocks based on their percentage price change. Price changes are based on the last available closing prices, and do not include intraday price action. The database of historical prices is usually updated with the latest closing numbers before 8pm EST each weekday after the markets close. You have the option of isolating securities that meet one or more of the following criteria:

For example: 1 Month return Greater than 30 % will return a Quote Report containing all stocks and indexes whose price has jumped by more than 30% during the last 30 calendar days. The second line under price performance is optional. if you choose to complete the first line and the second line, the search will isolate stocks and indexes that match the criteria entered in both lines. For example, 1 Month return Greater than 20% and Second line: 1 Year return Greater than 55% will isolate stocks and indexes whose price has jumped by more than 20% during the last 22 trading days and by more than 55% in the last year. In this case, you might be searching for growth stocks that have recently made a strong upward move.

Stock Filter - Intraday Price

The Intraday Price Filter lets you screen stocks based on their percentage price change during the current or last trading day. It does not include price information for previous trading days. You have the option of isolating securities that meet one or more of the following criteria:

During trading hours (weekdays, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.), prices are delayed at least 15 minutes for securities that trade on the NASDAQ Exchange and at least 20 minutes for securities that trade on all other exchanges. Returns calculations across the site reflect all stock splits and are based on simple capital appreciation. Calculations do not include the payment of dividends. Each report links to price charts, news and additional information on each company or index displayed on the report.

Stock Filters - Company Financials

The Company Financials Filter is a search tool designed for isolating companies based on their industry classification, market capitalization, and most recent annual financial information such as revenue and revenue growth, net income and net income growth and book value. All input fields are optional, but can be used to isolate specific companies within a particular industry that meet revenue, income or other criteria.
